The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested Stanley St. Cyr, 34, earlier today on a warrant for Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon, and Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury.
The warrant was issued after an investigation was conducted in May of 2022 by detectives and officers of the WPD. The investigation began after officers were called to New St. for shots fired in the area. The WPD’s Emergency Response Team later assisted in the investigation by serving a search warrant on Dewey Avenue.
This was one of three shooting investigations conducted by WPD this summer. Stanley St. Cyr’s bond was set at $50,000.
