Pauline Foster

Pauline May Foster, 93, of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 17th at 2:24 am, surrounded by family, at Adena Medical Center-Chillicothe where she had been a patient since December 6th.
Pauline was born December 26th, 1927, in Otwell, IN; daughter of James and Ella (Traylor) Pride. After Graduating from Otwell High School in 1946 and attending Lockyear’s Business College, she met and married King Donovan Foster on September 6th, 1952, in Evansville, IN.
She was a hard-working wife and mother that could take any task on, from working in a tomato cannery, to the Evansville Printing Corporation, to utilizing accounting skills at Buckeye Steel and finishing her career for over 25+ years at Select Sires in Plain City, OH. Pauline also served as a Cub Scout Den Mother for both of her sons, loved creating ceramic and pottery pieces, enjoyed knitting and spending time reading. She was a devout member of Epworth Methodist Church in Columbus OH for many years, until moving to Washington Court House where she attended St Andrews Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her two sons; Keith (Leah) Foster of Washington Court House and Kent (Constance) Foster of Cardington, OH; Grandchildren; Ryan, Erik and Alyson Foster, Lynn (Josh) Foster-Dawson; Step Grand Children; Jonathon Moore, Benjamin Blizzard and Many Beloved Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband King Foster on April 24th, 2009; and siblings Hilbert (Juanita) Pride; Maurice (Ginnie) Pride; Lela (Bill) Bigham; Marvin (Ernestine) Pride; Delmer (Frances) Pride; Ronald (Margaret) Pride; Walden Pride; Louanna (Lloyd) Yeager; Cletus (Candy) Pride; Lorraine Pride (Pauline’s Twin Sister) and a Step Grandson, Nathan Blizzard.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation was observed, and a Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 6th, 2022, at the Otwell IOOF Cemetery; in Otwell, IN.
