A woman was arrested by Indiana State Police over the weekend on sexual misconduct charges. 33 year old Heather N. Cottom, of Carlisle, was arrested on Saturday after a warrant was issued for her arrest by Sullivan County. The investigation revealed Cottom had allegedly engaged in sexual misconduct with a minor under the age of 16. Cottom was arrested on the active warrant by Indiana State Police and was taken into custody. She was transported to the Sullivan County Jail without incident.
