About half of the 155 faculty members at the University of Evansville have joined the American Association of University Professors. The move comes at a dire time for faculty and staff as there are rumors of a proposed three-million-dollar university budget cut. Professor Daniel Byrne says faculty members want to have a say in the future of the school. Meanwhile, the university says it’s focused on its finances, and other future plans. The University of Evansville didn’t directly address the budget cut rumors.
