More changes to Indiana’s election rules

election-2020-2

Indiana’s election rules are changing once again. On Tuesday, a federal judge struck down a 2019 law that only allowed counties to ask for polls to stay open longer. A group called Common Cause sued the state over the law, stating voters should also have the power to request polls remain open longer. This is the second significant rules change regarding Indiana elections. Last month, a different judge ruled against Indiana’s current system of removing inactive voters from the voter list.
