Fire crews responded to a trailer fire in Shoals on Labor Day. A fire ignited in the home of two residents while they were away. The fire destroyed the entire mobile home, everything inside, and it took the lives of two dogs. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. Indiana State Fire Marshall’s are currently investigating the fire. Assisting agencies include Martin County Fire & Rescue, Martin County Ambulance Service, and the Martin County Sheriff’s Department.
