North Daviess Cougar Volleyball team lost to North Knox 3 to 1.   25-20.  25-17    27-29   26-24
The Cougar tennis team is  now 7-0 with a tight 3-2 win over Bedford North Lawrence- North Daviess will have another home match today against NE Dubois
The Barr-Reeve tennis team won their match against Paoli 4-1 on Monday night to go 7-0 on the season.   The lone loss for the Vikings came at the #2 singles spot.  Barr Reeve will travel to Southridge today.

TICKET INFORMATION FOR FRIDAY NIGHTS WASHINGTON FOOTBALL GAME @GIBSON SOUTHERN.  All players and cheerleaders grades 10, 11, 12 will get to purchase 3 tickets. Managers will get 1 ticket Coaches will get 2 tickets.  Tickets will be sold in the athletic office Tuesday thru Friday.  If all tickets are not sold they will be opened to the public on Friday.

The Cincinnati Reds rallied in the ninth, but fell 7-5 to the St. Louis Cardinals Monday night at Great American Ballpark. Eugenio Suarez hit a three-run home run in the ninth to bring the Reds to within two, but they could get no closer.  The Reds and Cardinals continue the series tonight. The Chicago White Sox Sox scored three runs in the ninth and went on to beat the Minnesota Twins 6-5.
The Kansas City Royals scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth and defeated the Cleveland Indians 2-1 Monday night at Kauffman Stadium.
The Cubs kick off a series at Pittsburgh tonight against the Pirates.
Notre Dame announced Monday that the school will limit attendance at home football games to no more than 20 percent capacity. With Notre Dame Stadium’s capacity of 77,622, the maximum number of tickets sold will be 15,524. Notre Dame students will have first priority to purchase season tickets, followed by faculty and staff members, who will be able to buy single game tickets. Tailgating will also be prohibited, and those in attendance must wear a mask and practice social distancing. The Fighting Irish open the season September 12th at home against Duke.
The Indianapolis Colts made a pair of roster moves Monday. The team released fullback Roosevelt Nix and activated safety Julian Blackmon from the active/non-football injury list. Nix was signed earlier this year to a one-year deal after five seasons with the Steelers. He was primarily a special teams contributor and made the Pro Bowl in 2018. Blackmon was the team’s third round pick in April’s draft. The Utah product tore his ACL in the Pac-12 Championship game last December and was not expected to return until October.
