Our Community Foundation has awarded a $700 grant to Daviess County Partnership/Connections as part of its 2024 Fast Grant Program. This funding will support the relaunch of a community program aimed at helping families transition away from public assistance and achieve financial independence. Originally launched in October 2018, the program was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Two sessions are planned for this year, each accommodating up to five participants. Before the program was halted, 18 participants completed the training, with only one requiring further assistance since then. For more information, visit www.dcpconnections.org.
