Study Reveals Indiana’s Deadliest Routes

A study by The Barber Law Firm determined that State Route 37 is Indiana’s deadliest route, averaging 8.4 fatalities per year. State Route 67 follows with 7.4 average fatalities, and State Route 3 ranks third. The analysis, based on NHTSA’s data from 2018 to 2022, highlights the routes with the highest fatality rates, noting that 2022 was particularly deadly for these routes. State Route 135 and State Route 62 also made the top five, with 4.2 and 4.0 average fatalities per year, respectively.
