Our Community Foundation has awarded a $750 grant to Washington Free Methodist Church to support the launch of the Foundation’s Childcare Ministry through the 2024 Fast Grant Program. The grant will fund emergency exit panic bars and interior paint for the classrooms. Pastor Adam Conder of Washington Free Methodist Church stated that the new program aims to address the growing demand for childcare due to the increasing number of dual-income families in the community. The Foundations Childcare Ministry is set to open this summer, serving children aged 6 weeks to preschool.
