RTC Communications, based in Montgomery, has received funding from the Indiana Next Level Connections program to expand fiber internet in eastern Daviess County and western Martin County, specifically around West Boggs Park. This project will bring high-speed internet, offering speeds up to 5 gigs, to residents and businesses from north of Loogootee to just south of Bramble. Construction is expected to begin towards the end of the summer. RTC has committed over $2.5 million to this expansion.
