Gas Prices Drop Across Indiana as Demand Decreases

gas-prices2
Gas prices in Indiana have been falling recently due to shrinking demand, says Trilby Lundberg, an oil and gas analyst for the Lundberg Survey. During the Memorial Day period, demand decreased, causing refiners and suppliers to compete for sales. Nationally, regular-grade gasoline averages $3.58, while GasBuddy reports Indiana’s average at $3.31, a drop of 12 cents in three weeks and 19 cents in seven weeks. Americans will spend approximately $425 million less per week on gasoline compared to a year ago. Diesel prices have also fallen to their lowest level since early 2022.
