Memorial Day is Monday.
A salute to the men and women who never made it out of the uniform—those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy so many freedoms today.
The American Legion in Washington and VFW will host a special Memorial Day service at the Hill of Heroes at Eastside Park starting at 11 a.m.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
