Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center announced the retirement of President and CEO E. Kyle Bennett, effective May 20. To ensure a seamless transition, an interim leadership structure has been in place since April. In March, Bennett shared his retirement plans with the hospital staff, expressing gratitude for his nearly 27 years with the organization. Bennett joined Memorial Hospital in 1997 as vice president of finance and later served as executive vice president and chief operating officer before becoming president and CEO in 2015. Linda White will expand her role to serve as interim Chief Administrative Officer for Memorial Hospital. Susan Brumley, will be the interim Chief Operating Officer for Memorial Hospital. The board of directors, physicians, staff, and volunteers at Memorial Hospital thanked Bennett for his leadership, guidance, and dedication over the years.
