Daviess County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an accident at Beer Can Alley just west of Washington yesterday afternoon.
The call came in at 5:16 p.m. According to the report, 24-year-old Salvadore Mora-Cruz was traveling westbound on Old 50.
16-year-old Cole Strange was northbound on County Road 150 (beer can alley).
Strange pulled out of the intersection and into the path of Mora-Cruz.
Cruz tried to avoid the collision and traveled off the road, down an embankment on the north side.
Cruz was pulled from the vehicle by witnesses and was transported to Good Samaritan for treatment.
