Drug Arrest Made After Break-In Report in Washington

On Tuesday, officers with the Washington Police Department’s 2nd shift responded to E Flora St. after receiving a report that someone was breaking into a residence. With assistance from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, officers conducted a safety sweep of the residence but were unable to locate anyone. However, officers reported observing items related to illegal drug use in plain view.
A search warrant was granted to search the residence for further items related to Narcotics.  Officers reported seizing approximately 6.7 grams of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine, suspected Heroin, Paraphernalia, Syringes, and several firearms. As a result, 37-year-old Jeromy Brower was arrested on charges of Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Syringe, and Possession of Paraphernalia.  The original complaint is still under investigation.
