Yesterday, a vehicle fire was reported near a building at 7131 N 1200 E in Loogootee at 8:54 a.m.
A tractor was used to pull the burning vehicle away from the building, mitigating potential damage.
Additional manpower was requested and dispatched to the scene.
Fire units remained on standby until the situation was contained, and Waglers was contacted to retrieve the vehicle.
The fire units returned to the station by 10:10 a.m., and the area was declared secure.
