Around 70 people attended the Washington Community Schools Work Session last night at Washington Intermediate School. Performance Services presented the crowd with 11 different options based on feedback from the school’s 62-member Study Committee, which consisted of a diverse group of members in the community and met from February through April. The visual options and detailed scenarios gave the public an outlook to consider as the community looks to the future for a plan of action. Ideas and viewpoints were presented by both community members and members of the school board. Performance Services and the School Board will now take the information and look forward to the next step. The meeting was for information only, and no decision has been made on any of the options at this time.
