Lester Square Skate Park in Vincennes is now open to skateboarders, with a grand opening celebration scheduled for this Saturday at 10 a.m. The newly renovated facility marks a significant upgrade from its original form. After 18 years of use, the park’s equipment showed signs of aging, prompting a push for a more modern, permanent facility. The grand opening will feature a ZAMCO jam session where skaters can showcase their tricks for prizes, with the 1732 Skate Shop also in attendance. Food trucks will be on-site to cater to attendees. The celebration kicks off at 10 a.m. at Lester Square Memorial Park, located at 901 Church Street.
