Officers, along with medical units, arrived on the scene shortly after. The incident involved a red Chevy that crossed into the median and went between bridge rails. The male driver was conscious and alert, with no major injuries reported, but remained trapped in the vehicle initially. Rescue units worked to extricate him, and he was eventually freed and taken to Daviess Community Hospital. The road was cleared, and the scene was completed by 6:49 p.m.
