Vigo County, IN – A crash occurred just before 10:45 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 41, just north of the 641 bypass, resulting in one fatality. The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office reported that an SUV traveling south on U.S. Highway 41 attempted to turn east onto Woodsmall Drive when a northbound motorcycle collided with the SUV in the northbound lanes. The motorcyclist died at the scene. A passenger in the SUV was taken to the hospital for treatment, and the driver underwent a chemical test, which detected no drugs or alcohol.
