The Lady Hatchets won three matches on Saturday to win the Evansville Central Invitational. Defeated North Posey 5-0, Central 4-1, and Bosse 5-0. 4-2 on the season play Monday at home vs Rivet at 5:00

BR at Paoli Invite
The Vikings bring home victory in the 4 team tourney that included Paoli, Madison and Greenwood. The Viking racketeers won all but 1 match on the day.

Evansville North continues their dominance in Montgomery as they win the 20 team Hatchet Invitational with a 308 on a long and breezy golf course. Jasper was 2nd with a 310 and Bloomington South was 3rd with a 311.  Area teams: Vincennes Lincoln was 7th with a 337, Washington was 10th with a 347, South Knox 11th with a 348 Barr Reeve finished 14th with a 374.

Longtime NK volleyball coach Tammy Meurer is calling it a career. She has coached since the 1989-90 school year and got her 600th career victory last fall. She coached at Union Dugger before taking over the Warriors. Congrats to Coach Meurer on a great career!

The Masters
Scottie Scheffler ran away and hid from the field and captured his 2nd green jacket. Scheffler shot -11 while local favorite Adam Schenk playing in his first Masters placed 12th at +1.

Indy avoids the play in tourney as Myles Turner 31. The Pacers will be the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference and will face third-seeded Milwaukee in the first round of the Playoffs starting on Sunday.

8-3 Brewers 6-6 Reds was postponed by rain
This weekend, the Reds are in Chicago to face the White Sox, the 7-5 Cubs are in Seattle to take on the Mariners and and the 6-7 Cardinals are in Phoenix to face the Arizona Diamondbacks.

2024 Masters
Rd 1 of the Masters was pushed back a couple of hours and thus not all players got finished on Thursday. Bryson Dechambeau leads the way at -7 followed closely by world number 1 Scottie Scheffler at -6 and Nicolai Hojgaard at -5 but Hojgaard has 3 holes remaining on his round 1.  South Knox’s Adam Schenk is even par through 15 holes and is currently in a tie for 32nd place.
