On Friday, February 23, around 1:15 PM, Vincennes Police Department officers responded to a report of a possible shooting at the Bowman Terrace housing complex. The E911 call led officers to two juvenile suspects, both of whom are now in custody. As a precaution, Tecumseh Harrison Elementary School was briefly placed on lockdown until the area was secured. Authorities have stated there is no threat to the community, and the incident is currently under investigation.
