The city of Vincennes is moving forward with plans to renovate its skate park at Lester Square Park.
A bid for the work was opened at Monday’s Vincennes Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.
The bid, submitted by Hunger Skate Parks in Bloomington, was for $450,000 and is currently under advisement.
The city had previously saved $350,000 over the past few years for the renovation and raised additional funds through a crowdfunding campaign last year.
A decision on the bid is expected to be made at a later date.
