On Wednesday, Secretary of State Diego Morales distributed election improvement grants to Daviess, Knox, Lawrence, Dubois, and Crawford Counties through the Federal Help America Vote Act.
The funds are aimed at enhancing election processes and security.
Daviess County secured over $6,400, Knox County received almost $30,000, Dubois County obtained just under $18,000, Lawrence County benefited from over $20,000, and Crawford County received nearly $16,000.
