Dubois County First responders were on the scene of what dispatchers are describing as a “home explosion” in Dubois County last night. The home is in the 2200 block of N. Hillham Road, which is southwest of French Lick on the Dubois/Orange County Line. The home was leveled, and all nearby roads were shut down.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department confirms at least one man is missing.
Neighboring houses up to a half-mile away were damaged, and the explosion could be heard ten miles away. The search for the missing man will resume this morning.
