Marjorie A. Loch, 86, of Vincennes, IN passed away at home with her family by her side on January 7, 2024. She was born on July 25, 1937, to the late Louis and Mary Etna (McCoy) Bringwald. Marjorie attended Lincoln High School. She married the love of her life Francis George Loch. Marjorie worked 40+ years at Gemtron, formerly Hamilton Glass, until her retirement. Marjorie was a woman of faith and enjoyed reading her Bible. She also enjoyed watching games shows, especially Family Feud, and the New York Jets, playing ping pong, reading true crime books, gardening, solving word searches and crosswords, reading people’s palms, and spending time with her beloved dogs. Marjorie left an impression on anyone se met and she will be deeply missed.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; husband Francis Loch; son Nicholas J. Loch; great-grandchild Madison “Maddie” Jaquet; siblings William Bringwald, Helen Batman, Violet Margaret Bringwald, Howard “Cotton” Bringwald, Laura Like, Lou Bringwald Jr., Dorothy ‘DJ” Bringwald; brother-in-law Harley Like.
She is survived by her children Steven E. (Misty Grant) Loch, Gregory A. Loch, Carsen A. Christmas; grandchildren Shanda (Ashutosh Karnik) Loch, Nichole “Nikko” Loch, Erin Barekman; great-grandchildren Dylan Catt, Natalie Loch, Peyton Anthis, Harley Allen; sister Oma Like; dogs Ruby and Sophie; cat Macy; and several nieces and nephews.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Loch. Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, at 524 Broadway St. from 11am to service time. The funeral service will begin at 2pm.
