Big news yesterday from US Congressman Larry Buschon.
The Republican serving the 8th District, including Southwest and West Central Indiana, has announced he will not seek reelection in the fall.
The seven-term Congressman serves on several committees.
In making the announcement, he says that after lots of prayer over the Christmas break, he was ready to close this chapter of his life.
Tomorrow is the first day for candidates to file for the opening.
