The collaboration between the Daviess County Health Department and Purdue Extension-Daviess County Rooted Project is enhancing community support in the new year. The on-site medical clinic, led by nurse practitioner Julia Smith, will now be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The expanded services cater to individuals without medical insurance or with limited coverage through Emergency Medicaid, offering wellness exams, sports physicals, medication management, check-ups and refills, and acute illness visits.

Appointments can be made by calling 812-254-8666. Walk-ins are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis until all appointments are filled. Interpretation services are available in Spanish and Haitian Creole.
