James Clyde “Jay” Venters, 47, of Loogootee, Indiana passed on Thursday January 4, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on June 7, 1976, in Washington, Indiana to Edger C. Jr. and Kathryn (Isaacs) Venters.
Jay liked to fish and hunt. He enjoyed playing music videos on his phone, and video games. Jay liked to spend time with his family and will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edger C. Venters Jr. and his brother Donald Coleman Venters.
Jay is survived by his lifelong companion Megan Welker, their daughter, Kaelynn Elizabeth Venters, his mother, Kathryn “Kay” Venters, his siblings, Joshua (Amy) Venters, Lisa (David) Nixon, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M on Sunday January 7, 2024, at Goodwill Cemetery in Loogootee, Indiana with Denver Craft to officiate.
