New Details on Terre Haute Bank Robbery

New revelations have surfaced regarding a bank robbery at the Old National Bank in Terre Haute last Wednesday. According to court documents, a woman entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money while claiming a man had her kids at Deming Park, threatening harm if she didn’t return with cash. The teller, following protocol, provided “bait money” embedded with a GPS tracker. Subsequently, police discovered a matching blonde wig near the bank and interviewed witnesses in the vicinity. Phone records linked a conversation in the Vigo County Jail with a man discussing a woman named Erica, praising her appearance in a blonde wig. Post-robbery, in a video call, Erica Meyer, 46, reportedly shared that she escaped with $460, precisely the amount provided by the bank teller. Meyer was apprehended on Tuesday, and her court appearance is scheduled for January 3rd.
