Anthony “Tony” Lee Gray

Anthony “Tony” Lee Gray passed on December 13, 2023 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis after a brief illness. Tony was born on August 23rd, 1959 to Darrell and Beverly Gray in Vincennes, IN.
 
He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1977 and attended Vincennes University and later received his master’s degree in social work at USI. He was Southern District Manager for Custom Farm Services (CFS), a company started by his grandfather, Ellis Madding, until 1987 when the company was sold. After receiving his MSW, he was a social work counselor for several companies until forming his own counseling services business, Clinical Family Services LLC in Vincennes.
 
Tony found it rewarding to help people through is career as a social worker. He enjoyed IndyCar racing, professional football, classic rock music and boating on Patoka Lake. Tony also loved spending time with his grandchildren and dog Dandy and also enjoyed working out at the gym.
 
Tony will forever be remembered by his family and friends including his wife, Lynn; and children, Tyler Gray, Noblesville IN; Tricia Huffman (Casey), Noblesville IN; Elizabeth Chambers (Brandon), Washington IN; Clint Chambers (Michelle) Linden, MI; Ethan Chambers (Kayt) Ellettsville IN; Tessa Chambers (Teylor) Washington IN; and his grandchildren, Kinsley, Nora, Alexander, Adalynn, Ace, Isaac, Matthew, and Lee. He is also survived by his father Darrel Gray (Glenna), Vincennes; and his brother Steven Gray (Cathy), Vincennes. He was proceeded in death by his mother Beverly Gray; grandparents Ellis (Lida) Madding Vincennes; and George Gray (Amelia) Lawrenceville IL
 
A funeral service and Celebration of Life will be held at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home in Vincennes, 6th & Broadway Streets, on Wednesday, December 20th at 1:00pm preceded by visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
