Afternoon Fire in Washington Results in Total Loss; Donation Information for Sullivan Family

Washington Fire Crews and several other agencies responded to a house fire at 1724 West Walnut, across from Eagle Railcar, yesterday around 2:30 p.m.
A wood stove is believed to be the cause of the blaze at the residence belonging to Jerry Sullivan.
No injuries were reported, but the house was a total loss.
Crews spent nearly three hours controlling the fire.
Jerry Sullivan has played a big part in helping to clean up Oak Grove Cemetery.
A fund has been set up to help cover expenses for the loss.
