Daviess Community Hospital Resolves Potential Data Security Incident

Washington, IN – Daviess Community Hospital took swift action on November 14th, shutting down its systems upon notification by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security about a potential data security incident. A cyber investigation revealed that no sensitive patient or employee information was compromised. Efforts to restore systems began immediately, and as of November 30th, the majority of hospital systems are back online. The hospital is now focused on the data re-entry process to bring systems up to date. Daviess Community Hospital expresses gratitude for the community’s patience and support during this period.
