Indiana’s Poultry Producers Honored for Generosity

In a recent ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse, Governor Eric Holcomb, along with Department of Agriculture Director Don Lamb and the Indiana State Poultry Association, expressed gratitude for the generosity of the state’s poultry producers. They praised the donation of 200,000 pounds of duck, turkey, and chicken, along with 172,000 dozen eggs, provided by Indiana’s poultry farmers and businesses over the past year. Beyond the protein contributions, these contributors have also extended financial support, with donations totaling $340,000 to organizations combating food insecurity in the state.
