Jannie Elaine Bunte went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Jannie was born June 15, 1977, in Vincennes Indiana to Linda “Wollerman” Bunte and Jimmie Bunte. She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ in Westphalia.
Jannie graduated from North Knox High School, Class of 1995 and worked as a custodian for various places. She was very loving, giving and affectionate. Jannie was a person who could get along with everyone. She enjoyed watching game shows, word puzzles, bingo, gardening, driving in the country and listening to country music.
Surviving are her mother, Linda Bunte of Westphalia, IN and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Bunte and a brother, Jeff Bunte.
There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Salem United Church of Christ with Pastor Jesse Latourneau officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
