A tour of Washington’s Eastside Park, with its light displays has become a Christmas time tradition for area residents. The lights were turned on Thanksgiving evening and will run through January 2. When driving through the park, you are asked to tune your car radio to 89,7 FM for special holiday music. In addition not the nightly drive-thru times, the City of Washington’s Park Department will host the annual “Christmas in the Park” on Dec. 5 and 13, from 6 pm to 9 pm each of the two evenings. Motorists are also reminded to drive slow and take time to enjoy the lights. There will be a lot of traffic in the park over the holiday period
