Deer-Induced Pile-Up on I-69 in Southern Indiana

A seven-vehicle pile-up occurred around 5:30 on Sunday evening on I-69 in Vanderburgh County, southern Indiana. According to investigators, the incident was triggered when a truck collided with a deer. Subsequently, the truck lost power, rendering its hazard lights inoperable, leading to a chain reaction of crashes involving seven vehicles. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries, but two individuals were taken to the hospital for precautionary checks.
