The annual Veterans Day ceremony in Washington will be Saturday morning at the Daviess County Courthouse steps.
At the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we will remember them.
The Armistice, an agreement to end the fighting of the First World War as a prelude to peace negotiations, began at 11 a.m. on November 11, 1918.
This special ceremony, presented by the Washington VFW and American Legion, will be on the Courthouse steps on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
All are invited and encouraged to attend.
