Celebrating Native American Heritage: Film Screening and Discussion at Vincennes University

Vincennes University and Wabash Valley Progressives are coming together on Tuesday, November 14th, to commemorate Native American Heritage Month. The event will be held at the Vincennes University Jefferson Student Union, where they will screen the film “We Still Live Here.” This documentary focuses on the revival of the Wampanoag language. The film viewing will commence at 6:00 p.m., followed by a discussion led by Dr. Nancy Petersen, a professor of English at Purdue University. This event is open to the public and free of charge, with parking available across from the PE Complex. Native American Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate and honor Native American peoples, their rich histories, and cultures.
