washington-police

It was a busy weekend for local authorities in Washington. On Friday night, officers received a call from a subject who found a tracking device on them. State and local police from several agencies traced the device back to 39-year-old Lance Simmons of Linton, who had just bonded out of jail following a burglary investigation involving the subject who called police. Simmons now faces charges of stalking and invasion of privacy.
Later Friday night, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Walnut. A female was reportedly attempting to break into vehicles and was yelling. 19-year-old Jarumi Valasqueq-Hernandez was arrested on charges of public intoxication.
And early Saturday morning, city police were dispatched to a residence on SW First Street. 35-year-old Hiltong Mendez-Calero was arrested at the scene on a warrant for failure to appear.
