Communities in Senate District 39 are set to receive a boost for road and bridge improvements with nearly $4.6 million in grants via the Community Crossings Matching Grant Program (CCMG). State Sen. Greene County: $1 million

The CCMG program operates on a matching basis, with the Indiana Department of Transportation providing up to $1 million annually to localities. Counties with populations under 50,000 and cities and towns with populations below 10,000 receive a 75%/25% match, while counties with populations exceeding 50,000 and cities and towns with populations above 10,000 receive a 50%/50% match.
