Helen Ione Emmick

Helen Ione Emmick went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Helen was born March 16,1925, in Daviess County to the late John Plato and Hattie (Chandler) Allen. She was married to Raymond (Pete) Emmick. He also preceded her in death.

She was educated in Washington Elementary School and graduated from Alfordsville High School in 1943. She was employed at Uniroyal Company for thirty-one years and Decoart Inc for five years and a member of First Christian Church.

Surviving is one son Ray (Lisa) Emmick, two grandsons, Ryan and Jordan Emmick and several nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by five brothers: Victor, John P., Monte, Cecil and Ralph Allen and three sisters: Viola, Ruth Knipper, and Lillian Daily. Helen was the last of her family still surviving.

There will be a visitation Saturday, November 4, 2023, at First Christian Church from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service immediately following at 1:00 pm also at First Christian Church. Dr Byron Holtsclaw will be officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
