Yesterday, the Vincennes Police Department took two individuals into custody suspected of involvement in recent vehicle thefts. Payton A. Watts, 19, was apprehended on a felony probation violation warrant related to auto theft. Additionally, Watts faces charges of resisting law enforcement and another count of auto theft, which comes with a prior conviction. The second individual arrested for auto theft was a juvenile, and they are currently being held at the Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village.
