PETERSBURG, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced a temporary road closure affecting State Road 61 near Petersburg in Knox County.
Starting on or around Wednesday, October 25, State Road 61 will be closed near 2nd Run Road, close to the Knox County line.
This closure is necessary for a culvert replacement project and is expected to last one day, weather permitting.
The official detour will be State Road 241, U.S. 50, and State Road 57.
Local traffic will still have access up to the point of closure.
