Arrest Made in Social Media Threat to Lincoln High School

On September 28, at approximately 7:23 p.m., the Vincennes Police Department received reports of a concerning social media threat directed at Lincoln High School. An extensive investigation swiftly followed, resulting in the apprehension of a 17-year-old student from Lincoln High School. The student has been charged with one count of intimidation by terrorist threats, classified as a level 5 felony. Collaborating closely in the investigation were the Vincennes Community School Corporation and the Knox County High Tech Crime Unit.
