Our Community Foundation is gearing up for its annual Giving Tuesday event, a national celebration of generosity set for November 28th this year. This year’s event aims to raise awareness and support for nonprofit organizations serving Daviess County. Our Community Foundation will provide a no-cost platform on its website for managing online donations. Shake Broadcasting is joining forces with the Foundation to help promote this charitable initiative. Several local nonprofits, including the United Way of Daviess County, First Choice Solutions, Washington Carnegie Public Library, Oak Grove Caretakers, RSVP of Daviess County, Veale Creek Players, Lighthouse Recovery Center, Odon Winkelpleck Public Library, and Parkview Village Christian Care, have already committed to participating. In addition to supporting specific organizations, donors can contribute to any of the charitable funds managed by Our Community Foundation.
