Former Deputy Prosecutor’s Law License Suspended for Non-Cooperation

A former deputy prosecutor in Daviess County has had his license suspended by the Indiana Supreme Court for failing to respond to an investigation into a filed grievance, according to court records. Thomas Dysert was suspended from the practice of law in Indiana by the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission on August 24 due to failing to cooperate with an investigation into a grievance. Dysert was ordered to show cause as to why he believed he shouldn’t have his ability to practice law suspended for failing to cooperate with the investigation. In that notice, Dysert was given ten days to respond. Dysert did not respond. The Commission filed a “request for ruling and to tax costs” against Dysert since he had continued to be uncooperative. Dysert also reportedly failed to respond to that request.
