Washington Man Arrested in Vincennes Stabbing Incident

A Washington man has been taken into custody in connection with a stabbing incident. Authorities received a call at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday reporting a stabbing at 1321 North 3rd Street in Vincennes. A victim, who remains unidentified, received treatment at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries and was subsequently released from medical care. Investigators have classified this incident as isolated. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Roger J. Fleetwood, reportedly fled east from the residence before the arrival of law enforcement. According to jail records, Fleetwood was apprehended Thursday morning by Vincennes University Police. Fleetwood now faces charges of Battery Committed with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Battery, and Criminal Recklessness.
