INDOT Reveals Nighttime Ramp Closures Near Vincennes in Knox County

INDOT has announced a series of planned ramp closures near Vincennes in Knox County. Starting around Monday, August 28, construction crews will commence work on ramps connecting U.S. 41 and U.S. 50 in the vicinity of Vincennes. These improvements will require the temporary closure of various ramps during the night hours. The work is scheduled to take place from August 28 to September 7, with nightly closures scheduled.
The following closures are planned:
August 28: Closure of the 6th Street southbound off-ramp from U.S. 50 westbound and the U.S. 50 eastbound on-ramp from 6th Street.
August 29: Closure of U.S. 50 eastbound on-ramp from 6th Street northbound and U.S. 41 northbound off-ramp from U.S. 50 westbound.
August 30: Closure of the 6th Street on-ramp from U.S. 50 eastbound and the U.S. 50 westbound on-ramp from 6th Street.
August 31 and September 5: Closure of U.S. 50 eastbound exit to Washington over the tri-level and U.S. 50 westbound exit to U.S. 41 under the tri-level.
September 6 and 7: Closure of U.S. 50 eastbound exit from U.S. 41 northbound.
Each closure will commence at 9:30 p.m. and conclude at 6:30 a.m. on the following day. It’s important to note that all scheduled work is subject to weather conditions.
